Inlea: Supporting Our Team’s Success In Colombia

At Inlea we strive to support our team’s success in as many ways as possible. For this reason, we recently supported the diffusion of this video for our team in Colombia, who work for Cisco.

The purpose of the video is to bring awareness to the Cisco Network Academy Program’s alliance with the Inclusive Rehabilitation Centre of the Ministry of National Defense and the National Learning Service, to support the peace and post-conflict process in Colombia.

In the Colombian Public Force, there are over 12,000 women and men who have been left somehow handicapped during service. The purpose of this alliance is to support the process of social inclusion of active and retired handicapped members of the Public Force. The initiative aims to enable these members of society to be trained in ICT.

Diana Gutiérrez de Piñeres, the director of the Inclusive Rehabilitation Centre commented: The best part of this process is that Cisco has provided us with an education program that does not need other abilities to be carried out. It is tailor-made for our soldiers and we need to take advantage of it. The Inclusive Rehabilitation Centre is a centre that was created with the support of the Government to help our soldiers and this type of projects support that process.

This is a fantastic initiative that will surely help a lot of Colombia’s soldiers and we are proud to have contributed to bring awareness to it.

At Inlea we are very proud of Carolina Cardona’s work, CSR Program Manager at Cisco Colombia, who positively contributed to this great achievement!
